Each project is different depending upon the skills of the team, as well as the timeline and
budget. The challenge is to fit into the needs of the client and come up to speed with the
technology and marketplace as quickly and unobtrusively as possible. There is always a
weakest link to be worked on and always a deadline or budget constraint to keep within.
Each client has different needs on a project. Lory tries to assimilate into that role as quickly
Dr. Sankar Mohan, Director Advanced Engineering, Magna Powertrain
East Syracuse, NY
"Magna Powertrain had a number of projects in process under approved NYSERDA
grants. We were also writing several additional grant applications for submission.
We hired Lory to assist us with the reporting and writing process. Our engineers
focused on the technical portions of the grants and Lory worked with us thru the
reporting process and grants submission. We hope to be working with her in a
long term relationship through the logical conclusion of these projects."
Tom Kelly, CFO, Optimax Systems Inc.

"We were sure we might qualify for several grants for our growing optics manufacturing
company. Lory helped us through our overall grant process. She guided us through
education of the possible grants, tying potential grants to our specific needs and growth
as well wrote the grant applications. We applied for a MAP grant (Manufacturing
Assistance Program thru Empire State Development) and IEP (Industrial Effectiveness
Program) among others. There was a large amount of paperwork and a myriad of
details. Lory was invaluable to keeping track of everything and interfacing between
the various agencies. Overall we received grant awards totaling over $350,000."
Victoria Van Voorhis, CEO, Second Ave Software
Pittsford, New York
"We had an opportunity to partner with the University of Rochester for a new product
venture on an SBIR that was due less than a month away. Lory helped us pull together
the submission and submit a quality application. We received approval and are
considering our next SBIR submission. We will include Lory on the team when
Darren Yehl, President, Cornerstone Training Institute
Rochester, New York
"We were new to applying for a grant. When the opportunity came up to apply for
a HAB grant for Asbestos training, we worked with Lory to submit an application.
There were many questions, forms and details made easier with her assistance. We would
have spent 3 times as many hours on our own."
